The figures are in for 2012 and once again, our members have consistently sold more homes through Georgia MLS than any other multiple listing service in the state.
So what trend has changed?
There was a steady decline in properties sold from 2007 to 2010, but 2011 is when we see the trend reverse. In 2011 there were 6,837 more properties sold as compared to 2010, which equates to a 9.2% gain. For 2012 there were 6,800 more properties sold than in 2011, equating to an 8.4% gain.
While there are still some headwinds facing our industry, if the trend holds true, Georgia MLS members should see positive gains for 2013!
So what trend has stayed the same?
It has always been our goal to provide our members a combination of quality data matched with the best tools and resources available so that they may better serve their buying and selling customers. For the past six years our members have consistently sold more homes through Georgia MLS than any other MLS in the state and last year was no different. In 2012 Georgia MLS members sold 14,843 more properties than our closest MLS competitor. That’s an 18.3% advantage! This year we look forward to further enhancing our products and services so we can continue these positive trends.
While some trends are changing…. some trends continue to stay the same! Together let’s make 2013 the best year yet!
